A day of surrender.

Can you commit to just a day of surrendering to whatever comes your way that will not positively serve you?
I don’t mean surrender to harm, but to the things that you might otherwise push against for one reason or another.

Surrender does not ask you to close your eyes to what is, it means just witness. Surrender does not say; do not listen or pay attention, it says, listen and look within, the internal voice knows your truth, knows the answers and knows the way.

To surrender is the ultimate Freedom and empowerment. Surrounding is not getting caught up, it is freeing you up!
Surrender is the ultimate AHA! Dolby Dharma

What idea, a way of being, grudge, feelings, guilt, shame etc. can you let go of today that will manifest a great change and lift you up?

We all have that to-do list in our heads that keep us stuck in the daily grind. We do the day-to-day on autopilot most of the time. The only way to lighten the load is to start cleaning up, letting go, of people, things, and thoughts that are doing no good but weighing us down, keeping us anchored to old habits.

Just for today, wake up and release one small ‘something’ that causes you a heavy, negative feelings; it can be a feeling, a routine or routine self-talk. Breathe into your heart and open up any emotional knots you feel with your own tender breath and let it all go even if it is only in your mind at the moment.

“Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward. If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Life is in session NOW.

Let go each day of everything you think you know about yourself and just BE without judgments, without agenda, and without a plan. This allows for new visions and understanding of what it means to self-realize; a deeper understanding that has no ego, or ID attached to it.

This letting go brings in peace, inner joy, understanding and nonidentifying through the labels and judgments by others and ourselves. Your immense presence is as simple as gazing up into the open dark skies that shine the light for everyone’s benefit without agenda only to express its unnamed gifts.

Who you are is beyond any temporary ID. Your true unrealized nature is expansive, unidentifiable you are more than the name, title or any belongings you have acquired in this life. Your opportunities are to empty yourself of yourself to realize you are much more than what is happening now.

The next time someone asks you, or you ask yourself, “who am I?” The answer, “I AM awake.” Dolby Dharma 🕉️☪️☮️❣️

A quote from Swami Rama (“The Art of Joyful Living”) “There is only one real book to study and learn from— the greatest of all books—and that is the very manuscript that you, yourself, are.”

Relinquish

Beyond my thoughts and feelings, there is a perfect unfolding of my life. With each breath, I am that life. I am unfolding into myself. Surrendering the excess; the past, the history the untruths.

Finding my strength, transforming the inwardness of my being.

I trust my own voice, my inner world, not the good opinions of lovers, friends, or the world as a whole.

A deeper knowing engulfs my outrageous self; I am free, I take risks I am living my untold story as I unfold letting go with each exhale.

I surrender to my life, I surrender to my fears, I surrender to my imperfections, and I surrender to my heart. I gain strength, wisdom and myself, as I transform my awareness, trusting the journey of my untold life. ~Dolby Dharma

Surrender can be likened to making the leap and just let go
with a sense of calm resolve that you will safely land as intended.

You are not your feelings, and you are not your thoughts
Rest in space.
This is where you find contentment, wisdom, comfort and openness.
The Nothingness sees, feels, and hears everything.
This is the self.
This is the wherewithal.
This is the ultimate freedom.

“Let it Ride”

expectations

Day Twenty-Two of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Expectations.

A “BIG energy” expectations; we all have them, and they can rule over us if we let them. I believe the only way to avoid the dark side of expectations is to learn how to ‘manage’ our anticipation of people, places, and situations. An unfortunate Challenge of having high hopes; it can and does prevent us from enjoying the experience altogether.

Therefore, let’s practice being open to life!

We are not going just to delete the idea of not having expectation(s), nor should we, having an idea, or wanting something in our lives and expecting it to turn out is natural, it gives us something to move towards. What causes the downside; is our attachment to the outcome. It can wallop us when we don’t get the desired result. Most of us have experienced great disappoint at some point in our life.

When we hold steadfast to our ideas about how things need to turn out, we can’t help but be disappointed, hurt and let down.

What can we do? We can practice having ‘less’ expectations, be open to more exploration, and trust the process, that life will throw us curve balls, people also what their way and situation don’t always turn out the way we want!

But that doesn’t and won’t always change our disappointment. But if we can practice adopting a free-flowing attitude, and a knowing, that things don’t always turn out the way we planned, we are meeting our expectations with an openness that allows us not to be so rigid and disappointed with our outcomes, but open to new opportunities.
This way of being affords us let judgments of ourselves and others.

There are amazing benefits practicing acceptance; most situations in our lives needs to be mindfully worked toward to set us free. Dolby Dharma
