Day Six of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Peace
Today I invite you to fill your heart with inner-peace, that space where self-acceptance dwells. Life is busy busy busy, and sometimes we forget that all we must do is close our eyes and remember, ‘There’s no place like home.’

Peace is letting go, living moment to moment. Do not plan the next minute, hour or day for five minutes; feel peace, believe peace and know that peace is the path of acceptance. Your breath will be your guide, just focus on your inhales and exhales and let it all go!

Inner peace is not something to achieve, it is your birthright, you just must access it and know it is within your power to create a few moments of peace that is always available to you.

Ways to help tap into your heart space is to create peace with your hand gestures, feel your heart beating, free your mind and listen to the inner voice of love and acceptance; YOU are enough. Act peacefully, speak peacefully and feel peacefully. Peace comes from making changes within the heart. Peace comes from your intentions.

As we know ourselves more, know we are loved by a divine source, a calmness brews within filling the heart with inner-peace that fuels the body mind and spirit, and you come to this place inside you that you can endure, regardless of what challenges life brings to you.

Peace opens, as you melt into your true nature; that you are whole, perfect and powerful within.

Today’s Affirmation: I hold peace, love, and serenity in my being, I welcome a new way of thinking as I shift my approach within.

“Loving-kindness” is a deep feeling of love and compassion for oneself as it extends out to others. When you experience those kinds of feelings, it also affords you the benefits of trusting yourself with a deep abiding sense of general well-being.

The practice is a way to instill faith within, that all will be as it needs to be, without turning against yourself when things are not living up to how you think they should be.

Pure gratitude reaches great distances that cannot be seen with the eye, only felt within the heart space. You will know that peace because you will feel a general overall sense of wellbeing; that is the awakened heart.

Gratitude is the one true gift that awakens you to ‘WHAT IS.’

Living in a grateful heart is the very daily dose of nourishment we all need throughout the day. We think about things all day long, take a few moments to think about yourself by offering up some compassion. A simple acknowledgment of self-care is the fuel you need to take on the day. Having mantras to calm the spirit down does change the energy flow within.
 
Say this or any blessing for yourself anytime you feel alone, afraid or out of touch with the Light within. Then extend it out to others.
You will be amazed how much peace will wash over you.

If you can do one thing for ‘YOU,’ to set yourself free and any prisoners that might be captive in your heart because you felt betrayed, disrespected, lied to, and I am sure there are many more descriptive hurts and actions you can add to the list! Ho’oponopono Prayer is for you!

If you feel someone has done something to you, I am positive that others feel you have done something to them as well. It could be unbeknown to you, we don’t always get to know when our words and actions might harm someone, not everyone brings it to our attention, they just live with it, hold on to it or blow it off. Think of all the strangers you have encountered in your daily life that you have been irritated with for one reason or another. I know I have been annoyed when left on the phone forever and someone finally comes on only to switch me to someone else. That is just an example of how our behaviors to strangers do harm to ourselves (frustration) to them for doing their jobs. This prayer/mantra extends itself. You know the saying, “From your lips to Gods’ ears.”

Waking up ready, what else is there? Instead of comparing yourself to some unfortunate situation, just be grateful for all things that are good in your life. We can always compare our current conditions, and say, “well it could have been this, that or the other,” sure it could have been. Life is a lot of things, and that comparison is convoluted gratitude, the gratitude of putting a spin on things, so you feel better about your current state of being. Nance Ellis says, “Unconditional Gratitude is the natural result of opening your heart and allowing the presence of “what is.” From the humble state of allowance”.
Each one of us deserves to be ready for GREAT things to appear in our lives. Practice waking up to the simple words of, ‘Thank you,’ nothing more and see how your day goes. You deserve that abundance in your life; you just have to tap into that energy of being willing, ready and able to receive that blast of divine gratitude that is always present in you, around you.
Today and every day may I drop my stories of good and bad long enough to see the divine harmony and beauty of what is. ❤
